Sharing Our Uncommon Legacy

What does philanthropy mean to a community, both receivers and givers?

That's what a local group of personal historians and documentary filmmakers set out to discover in a collaborative effort that came to be known as S.O.U.L. of Philanthropy (Sharing Our Uncommon Legacy) of Greater Grand Rapids. After two years of planning, interviewing and production, the result is a one-hour documentary, The Gift of All: A Community of Givers. It premiered on WGVU-TV on November 26 and will repeat in 2009, date to be announced.
